The students at Academy for International Studies, Magnet school are holding a clothing drive on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school parking lot at 201 University Blvd, Danbury. The drive will serve two purposes, coats and boots are being collected for the families in the Catskills that have lost many items due to Hurricane Irene. The other clothing, shoes and linens are being collected as a fund raiser for the 5th graders Natures Classroom trip. These clothes will be send to other families in need or recycled to make new materials. I have attached the school flyer as well. It would be very helpful to the success of this drive if you would place the information in the Patch.
