Firefighters Tackle House Ablaze In Danbury

Seven career companies and three volunteer companies to the scene on Hoyt Street in Danbury.

DANBURY, CT — The American Red Cross is helping one family – two adults, and a child – following a fire at their home in Danbury Thursday.

The Danbury Fire Department responded to a report of house fire on Hoyt Street at 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, Deputy Chief Bernie Meehan requested a second alarm, which brought in seven career companies and three volunteer companies to the scene.
