Get Cozy And Read Danbury, Library Unveils Winter Reading Program
Residents of all ages are urged to get a special BINGO card and enter to win a gift basket that is packed with some seriously good prizes.
DANBURY, CT — The weather is freezing, and it's time to "cozy up" and read a book, according to the Danbury Public Library.
Of course, the library wants that to happen, and its annual "Winter Reading Program" kicked off last week, Friday, Jan. 2.
Similar to libraries' traditional summer reading programs, Danbury's 'Winter Reading Program' involves folks of all ages stopping by the library at 170 Main St., getting a special BINGO board, then completing the squares (which involve reading books) for a chance to win a special gift basket.

The program ends on Feb. 28, so there's plenty of time to participate.
Of special note regarding the gift basket is that it includes four free passes for 1.5 hours of free, open ice skating at the Danbury Ice Arena in town.
