DANBURY, CT — It was an extra special Homecoming game at Immaculate High School this year! Students, fans and members of the community cheered on the school’s 2024 class of Hall of Fame inductees during a special recognition.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place during halftime on Friday, September 27, when inductees took to the field to be recognized and to receive their commemorative Hall of Fame pin. The school also hosted a celebratory luncheon to honor them. Guests enjoyed IHS athletic memorabilia, toured the school, reconnected, caught up and shared memories while enjoying a delicious buffet luncheon provided by alumni owned restaurant, J. Law Kitchen & Bar.

The Hall of Fame is a prestigious group of athletes, coaches, administrators and community members who earned this well-deserved honor through their athletic achievements while at Immaculate. The school has a long history of athletic success and was recently named the #14 Best High School for Athletes out of 248 schools in Connecticut by Niche rankings.

"Every one of these Mustangs and coaches made incredible contributions to athletics here at Immaculate and deserved this honor," said Athletic Director Nelson Mingachos. "We loved celebrating them, sharing old memories and making new ones here at Mustang Valley during Homecoming Weekend!”
