To the Editor,

As this campaign season comes to a close, I ask for one more opportunity to discuss with the voters of Danbury’s First Ward my reasons for wanting to represent them on the City Council:

I am committed to supporting Danbury and the neighborhoods of the First Ward, where I have made my home since 2006.

In fact, in several instances, my neighbors have called me for advice on problems that their elected incumbent would not address.

A City Council member must be willing to return every phone call, answer every question, and tackle every problem. I worked with residents to bring difficult road repair problems before the Corporation Council. I listen to homeowners concerned about speeding traffic outside their living rooms. I fought to keep Danbury zoning laws intact when a developer wanted changes that would change the nature of Clapboard Ridge Road neighborhoods.

I want to help residents make the most of life in Danbury. That’s why I am running.

May I count on your vote on Nov. 2?
