Letter: 'In Support Of Farley Santos for State Representative'

To whom it may concern,

About 10 years ago, the BOE in Danbury very quietly decided to cut Freshman Sports from the budget for Danbury High School. This was done, with no warning, right as summer break was about to start. Given the size of the High School and the importance of keeping kids engaged in school, etc., etc., a very small group of parents and a staff member at the school decided to fight back. We spent every day of that summer fundraising in order to fund the Freshman Sports program ourselves. As part of this process we needed a bank to help with setting up our LLC account. I went to Savings Bank of Danbury and met with a young man named Farley Santos. We did not know each other but after explaining our situation, Farley immediately said he would help us and walked me through the whole process. He saw the importance of this for the community and was a pleasure to work with. His commitment to our community has only grown over the years as he continues to fight for local improvements. I will happily be voting for Farley Santos for State Representative and I encourage everyone in his area to do the same.
