Missing CT State Police Bloodhound Found
K9 Texas had been missing for more than 24 hours.

DANBURY, CT — The more than daylong search for a missing State Police bloodhound has come to a close, after K9 Texas was found Friday morning, according to Danbury mayor Mark Boughton. Texas had gone missing during the search for a 42-year-old man at Wooster Mountain.
The search for Texas began at 6 p.m. Wednesday after he bolted from his handler that lost his footing on the side of a hill. Several law enforcement agencies aided in the search, using helicopters to comb the woods where Texas ran off from.
A video posted to Twitter by state police shows Texas exiting a green van, appearing healthy and in good spirits.
