New Sidewalk Cafe Coming to Downtown Danbury

City officials are hailing the new cafe as a sign of downtown's revitalization

DANBURY, CT — In what officials are hailing as a sign of the revitalization of the city center, a sidewalk cafe will open in June in Danbury, reports the News Times. Pour Me Coffee and Wine Cafe is set to open at 274 Main Street next month.

The location is over one block away from Kennedy Flats, and hopes to bring foot traffic downtown. City Center Danbury also gained approval to install sculptures on Main Street this week.

Mayor Mark Boughton said the sidewalk cafes are an encouraging sign of the downtown revitalization efforts.
