Obituary: Angeline "Angie" Healey, 93, of Danbury
Her kindness and joy will be remembered by everyone she met.

Danbury – Angeline “Angie” Healey, 93, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017 at Hancock Hall in Danbury, surrounded by the caring staff and her family. Angie was born November 7, 1923 in Danbury, daughter of Frank and Dora (Novella) Battista. She was a graduate of St. Peter’s School and lived in Danbury most of her life. She retired from the Barden Corporation in Danbury after more than 35 years with the company, retiring as a foreman. On Nov. 18, 1967, she married Arthur “Art” Healey, her loving husband of 17 years until his death in 1984. A magnificent cook, Angie enjoyed spending time cooking for her extended family, especially for Sunday dinners. Her kindness and joy will be remembered by everyone she met. She is survived by her step-daughter, Joan Cappellano; her nephews, John Battista, Frank Battista and Russ Battista; and her nieces Judy Matson, Dorothy Lourenco and Mary Ann Hinckley. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 29th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Robinson Ave., Danbury, CT. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Danbury. No calling hours. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Hancock Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 31 Staples Street, Danbury, CT 06810
