Party Affiliation:
Republican

Occupation:
Attorney 17 years

Family:
I am the proud mother of Tatum Fay and Colton Fay. Tatum is 10 and Colton is 12. They are both excellent students and involved in a variety of activities including The Nutcracker production by the Danbury Music Center.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
I was elected to the City of Danbury Zoning Commission in 2015-2017. 2019-2021.

Why are you seeking this office?
I am forever Danbury and believe in our great city. While Danbury has enormous potential our quality of life has deteriorated. Our neighborhoods need our attention and our residents deserve a quality of life that reflects a government that cares about them.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Quality of life. When elected, I will ask for a City Council Committee to thoroughly exam our ordinances and zoning regulations to address quality of life issues like over population of houses, parking on front lawns, excessive noise, blight issues, and the proliferation of undesirable businesses like Vape Shops.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I have experience in all aspects of law and negotiation. I have served in elective office and thoroughly understand the operations of the city

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
As your City Council woman I will ensure that the City administration and the Board of Education set the standard for transparency. For example, when a Superintendent - the leader of our schools and manager of more than 50% of our municipal budget resigns, I'll ask the tough questions as to why. When the Economic Development Director suddenly quits I'll make sure the public's right to know is protected.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I am a thoughtful, conscientious leader. A graduate of Yale's Executive Women's Leadership program. I have been awarded numerous awards and citations including the Danbury Bar Association's Pro Bono award.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Worrying about other's opinions can prevent you from living authentically.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I'm a problem solver who puts people over politics.
