Police ID 21-Year-Old Danbury Man Killed In Ridgefield Car Accident

DANBURY, CT — Police are investigating a fatal car accident that occurred early Sunday morning and took the life of a Danbury resident.

The Ridgefield Police Department received a report of a serious 2-car accident in the area of 71 Ethan Allen Highway at around 12:46 a.m.

First responders found two cars severely damaged. One motorist, identified as Nathaniel M. McLean, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene by Ridgefield Fire Department medics. The second driver, Chaudhry M. Shouq, 56, was extricated from his vehicle and transported to Danbury Hospital with serious injuries. Both men were Danbury residents.
