Richard Jowdy, 90, began as a donut maker and later opened a real estate office. He served the city as chairman of the Danbury Zoning Board of Appeals for over 40 years. He was the recipient of many awards throughout his lifetime, including the Kiwanian of the Year Award for Outstanding Community Service, the Kiwanis Club 55 Year Legion of Honor Award, the Danbury JC’s Outstanding Distinguished Community Service Award, the CT Conference of Municipalities 30-Year Certificate of Distinguished Municipal Services Award, and the Danbury Old Timer’s Athletic Award for Football.
James Bargallo, 79, retired from his position as Head Custodian of Danbury City Hall in 2013 after 26 years of service. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan; and he always enjoyed "walking the dog".

Brenda DeWitt, 69, opened her own floral shop, Flowers by Brenda in Danbury, which she ran for many years. She was a longtime member of Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church.
Pat J. Larsen, 103, worked as a bookkeeper and was active in the community as the treasurer of On Stage (bringing Performing Arts to the Danbury Schools), and as chairman of the Residential Division of the Community Chest (later United Way). She was also a longtime volunteer at Danbury Hospital.

Glenna Q. McNally owned her own executive search firm, G McNally Enterprises. For many years she taught beginner bridge lessons at the Ridgefield CT Adult Education Program.
Kathryn Louise (Moore) Fay, 94, had a long career with Sears Roebuck. She was well known to the children and families of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, where she taught and ran the Religious Education Program for many years.
Brian Stephen Frank, 51, was a member of Saint Ann Melkite Catholic Church. He was employed as an attorney at Penino & Moynihan in White Plains, NY and was named partner in 2018. He enjoyed sharing his passion for Godzilla, wrestling, horror movies, and sports, especially the NY Yankees and Chicago Bears.
