San Gennaro Festival Returns To Danbury For 3rd Year
Carnival rides, zeppole, meatballs, pizza, laser lights and Taylor Swift music are just the beginning…
DANBURY, CT — The San Gennaro Festival returns to downtown Danbury at 1 Ives Street at the CityCenter Green on Aug. 21 and runs through the weekend.
The 3rd annual party begins after Mass and the blessing of the San Gennaro statue at St. Peter's Church at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by a procession down Main St. to Ives Street.
Along with Italian food, desserts, rides, games, and shopping opportunities, the schedule includes live music from The Zoo (Friday), Beyond Purple (Saturday) and The Phil Engel Band (Sunday). There's also a Taylor Swift-themed laser light show Friday, and laser lights synched to fireworks on Saturday.

Wed.-Fri.: 5-11 p.m.
Saturday: 1-11 p.m.
Sunday: 1-10 p.m.

Danbury San Gennaro is a non-profit organization. Proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities.
