Joan S. Ferrante, 92, died June 14, 2025; a longtime medical transcriptionist and founding president of the Eastchester Blue Devils Pop Warner Football program, she enjoyed travel, cooking holiday meals, and sharing family history with her grandchildren.

Robert S. Sniffin, 38, died June 6, 2025; a Manhattanville College graduate and theater enthusiast, he acted in numerous local productions, co-founded Barefoot Shakespeare, worked in hospitality in New York City, and was a passionate advocate for mental health, education, the arts, and social justice.

Karen P. Sauli, 74, died June 3, 2025; she worked for Addessi Jewelers and as a dental office manager, volunteered at Danbury Library, and enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking, and hosting tea parties.

Herminia "Mimi" Cruz Vázquez, 92, died June 3, 2025; she enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, sewing, gardening, cooking traditional dishes, reading, music, and spending time with others, with a life centered on faith, family, and helping those around her.

George Valzania, 90, died June 5, 2025; a U.S. Army veteran and skilled lithographer, he emigrated from Italy at 14, mastered carpentry, masonry, printing, and photography, acted in community theater, danced with flair, collected antiques, played tennis and the lottery, skydived at 75, and built a full life defined by curiosity, craftsmanship, and generosity.
