State Senator Kushner Backs Row A Democrats to Keep Ridgefield Thriving and Strong
From schools to safety, finances to open space, Row A candidates will protect what makes Ridgefield special. Vote Sunday until 6PM or Nov. 4

As Ridgefield’s State Senator, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with our town’s leaders and families, and I know what makes this community thrive: strong schools, safe neighborhoods, sound finances, and a deep respect for our natural environment. The Democrats on Row A deserve your vote to keep Ridgefield’s future bright.
In Hartford, I’ve fought to expand paid family leave, strengthen workplace protections, defend reproductive rights, and invest in public education. Those same values are reflected in the dedicated local leaders running on Row A this November. They’re ready to continue moving Ridgefield forward.
Ridgefield’s schools are among the very best in the state because of steady leadership and smart investment. Candidates Kathryn Graf, Scott Sigel, Angela Rice, and Tina Malhotra bring deep professional expertise along with the perspective of parents who know what’s at stake for our children. They’ll ensure Ridgefield’s schools remain a source of pride and opportunity.
Ridgefield is also one of the safest towns in America. To keep it that way, we need experienced, ethical leaders like Sharon Dornfeld and Stephen Riebling on the Police Commission. Their legal expertise and commitment to fairness will strengthen the bond between residents and law enforcement through accountability and respect.
And let’s not forget finances and our environment, two pillars of Ridgefield’s success. Mike Rettger and Andrew Okrongly have the proven expertise to keep budgets balanced while maintaining our AAA bond rating. Noah Berkowicz, Keith Carlson, and David Smith will continue safeguarding our water, wetlands, and open spaces, protecting the Ridgefield we cherish.
I urge Ridgefielders to join me in supporting this dedicated team. Today, Sunday, November 2nd is the last day of early voting at Town Hall. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th 6AM - 8PM at your regular polling site. Vote Row A for the Democratic Candidates. They are committed to preserving and protecting Ridgefield’s special character.
