DANBURY: "Our state should require full NAEP testing by all students, every year. For all grades possible, and publish the results. Looking at NAEP results and CT Mastery or CAPT, it's clear the Connecticut state tests are very inflated for proficiency vs reported NAEP results. In Danbury, both Broadview and Rogers Park were tested for NAEP 8th grade. Only 90 students were tested (selected randomly by NAEP) and of that subset, only 30 per test (science, mathematics and reading) within the tests, students only took part of the test (not the full test). commented on Connecticut school districts get extra money for low test scores.
