Thomas J. Maxwell, Jr., 48, of Danbury, Died Unexpectedly
Thomas Maxwell was a Senior Marketing Manager for the Global Atlantic Financial Group.

DANBURY, CT — Thomas J. Maxwell, Jr., 48, of Danbury, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Danbury Hospital. Tom was the husband of Laurie A. (McKenna) Maxwell.
Tom was born on June 5, 1967 in Derby, CT, the only son of Thomas J., Sr. and Lorraine (Kowalchik) Maxwell of Cheshire, CT. He attended Cheshire Schools and was a 1986 graduate of Cheshire High School. Tom received his BA in Economics from Drew University in Madison, NJ and his Masters in Economics from the University of CT at Storrs, CT. Tom was a Senior Marketing Manager for the Global Atlantic Financial Group in Simsbury.
Tom was a loving son, devoted husband and a kind-hearted giving man. He had an insatiable intellectual curiosity, quick wit and a great sense of humor. He had a passion for music, movies, cooking and food. Tom had a heart as big as the world and was loved by everyone who knew him.
Besides his wife of 11 years and parents, Tom is survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara McKenna and his brother-in-law, Kevin McKenna, both of New Fairfield. His aunt and uncle, Betty and John Pronko of Olyphant, PA. His cousins John Pronko of Olyphant, PA, James Kinne of White Lake, NY, Fred Kinne of Monticello, NY, and Howard Powe of Dumfries, VA.
A private Memorial service was held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Green Funeral Home, Danbury.
