Transit Bus Flips Over on I-84 in Danbury: Report

DANBURY, CT — A HARTransit bus driver suffered minor injuries when his bus flipped over while traveling on Interstate 84 between Exits 5 and 4 around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, NBC Connecticut has reported.

The state Department of Transportation issued a warning about traffic congestion between Exits 7 and 4 westbound on I-84 at around the same time, which the agency said was caused by a tractor trailer crash. It is unclear whether the two incidents are the same, or related.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.
