Union Savings Bank (USB) announces that Christopher Covello has joined the bank as a VP, Wealth Management Certified Planner & Trust Officer.

In his new role, Covello is responsible for the development of long-term financial plans for clients including recommending personalized financial products and services. He is also responsible for the administration of trust, not-for-profit, and other various accounts in conjunction with the financial planning process. He works out of the New Milford office located at 100 Park Lane Road.

Covello brings more than 10 years of banking experience to Union Savings Bank. Most recently he was a senior case consultant for Mass Mutual where he managed a team of consultants and developed financial plans for high-net-worth individuals and businesses. Prior to that, he was assistant vice president, financial solutions advisor for Merrill Lynch and Bank of America, creating and managing personalized investment strategies and financial plans.

Covello earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Economics and an MBA from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA), a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA), and holds securities trading licenses including Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 & 66. Covello resides in Middletown, CT.
