Animal Week takes place Monday, April 11 through Thursday, April 14.

With springtime and Earth Day approaching, it’s time to get outside to appreciate nature. The Roots & Shoots club at Western Connecticut State University (WCSU), established by the Jane Goodall Center for Excellence in Environmental Studies to promote the importance of global conservation and environmental issues, will once again host Animal Week, a popular springtime campus event, from Monday, April 11 to Thursday, 14.
Animal Week events are free and open to the public. Most will take place on the university’s Midtown campus, located at 181 White St. in Danbury, with the exception of the April 14 event, which will take place at the Campus Center on the Westside campus, located at 43 Lake Ave.
