Where To See Santa In Danbury This Holiday Season

DANBURY, CT — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Danbury families.

In Danbury, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

The big, classic “see Santa” event in the city will happen at the "Light The Lights" Winter Festival at CityCenter Green on Dec. 6. Scheduled from 3 to 7 p.m. at 1 Ives St., the event will feature the ceremonial lighting of a 40-foot holiday tree led by Mayor Roberto Alves. Following the tree lighting, Santa Claus is expected to arrive by fire truck as part of a live parade. The evening will include holiday music, cultural performances and seasonal dances.
