Woman Arrested for Shoplifting From Walmart: Danbury PD
Police say the woman was seen stealing nearly $200 worth of merchandise.
DANBURY, CT — A Sandy Hook woman was arrested after police say she was seen stealing nearly $200 worth of merchandise from the Walmart on Newtown Road. Sara Croteau, 52, was detained by loss prevention after she was seen trying to steal the merchandise.
Police say the merchandise she tried to steal was valued at $197.
Croteau was charged with Larceny in the sixth degree and was released on a written promise to appear on June 14.
