Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) New England Properties, Westchester Properties, New York Properties and Hudson Valley Properties -- one of the nation’s most respected residential real estate brokerages -- today announced the promotion of Brenda Maher to Senior Vice President.

Maher will oversee the growth of the company her responsibilities will include a concentrated focus on amplifying market share, relationship-building and management, spearheading recruitment initiatives, monitoring sales activities and trends, and providing support for the brokerage’s Office Leaders and 2,200 sales executives. In addition, Maher will continue to lead the company’s Darien, New Canaan and Ridgefield Offices.

Maher most recently served as Regional Vice President for BHHS New England and Westchester Properties. After joining the team in 2010, she has been responsible for the overall sales operations of the Westchester County (NY) and Fairfield County offices. During her nearly 30 years of real estate experience, she has held numerous executive positions, including Regional Vice President and Vice President of Sales. Brenda owned and operated her own brokerage firm in Greenwich, CT. Her proven track record has propelled her from sales agent (Rookie of the Year) to broker, sales manager of several offices, Director of New Homes / Condominium division, Director of Unique and Luxury Properties, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, Director of New & Experienced agent sales training and a business consultant to real estate franchisees. In 2013, The Commercial Record honored Maher as a “Woman of FIRE”, in a Hearst Top Workplaces survey in 2017, Maher was the highest-rated executive earning top marks from their employees in terms of her exceptional leadership .
