He has extensive experience with development, fundraising, marketing, sales, management, and communications with work at the Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens, Darien Sport Shop, Nielsen’s Florist, Lord & Taylor, and as an entrepreneur, writer, and artist. “As a third-generation Darien resident, now with children and grandchildren living in town, too, I am excited to join the dedicated team at The Community Fund, to continue to strengthen the fabric of our community. With decades of engagement with The Community Fund, I have tremendous respect for the diligence with which they pursue their mission to deliver essential human needs. I hope to leverage my local relationships as a fundraiser and advocate to encourage every Darien family and business to invest in the well-being of our town and our neighbors by adding TCF to their annual giving priorities. Truly, one gift to TCF helps fund over thirty critical programs and services that are there for each of us when we need them," said Peter.
