Darien’s Depot Youth Center To Host New Lineup Of Middle School Events
The programs aim to give local youth safe and supervised opportunities to socialize outside of school.

DARIEN, CT — The Depot Youth Center will offer a new series of special events for middle school students this school year, giving local youth safe and supervised opportunities to socialize outside of school.
The programs, open to students in grades six through eight, will include themed dances, ice and roller skating nights, laser tag outings and special celebrations such as Super Bowl and March Madness parties.
Students will also be invited to Friday night gatherings at community favorites like the Tokeneke Pumpkin Carnival and the Hindley Happening Carnival.

"We’re so excited to bring these opportunities to middle school students in Darien,"
said The Depot Executive Director Amy Daniels in a news release. "Our goal is to provide safe, engaging, and fun experiences where kids can spend time with their peers outside of school and feel part of a welcoming community."
Some events will take place at The Depot, while others will be held at local venues. Organizers said the goal is to create memorable experiences that promote connection and teamwork among students.
