Darien’s Old Fashioned Holiday Returns To Tilley Pond Park
The annual event will take place on Dec. 7 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
DARIEN, CT — Darien's Old Fashioned Holiday event will return to Tilley Pond Park on Dec. 7 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents can enjoy caroling with the Darien High School Tudor Singers, ornament and cookie decorating, ice sculptures, wish lanterns, photo opportunities with Rudolph and Frosty and learn about historical organizations in Darien like the Museum of Darien and Mather Homestead.

Attendees can also write letters to Santa and drop them in the magical mailbox, explore the park’s trails and pond, or grab a bite to eat at one of the food trucks that will be on site.
New this year, there will be a 300-pound block of ice that will transform into a beautiful sculpture. Additionally, 14 vendors will be part of the event selling a variety of gifts including vintage photography, candles, jewelry, ornaments, crochet items, children’s books and more.

The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking adult and high school volunteers to help with the event. More information can be found here.
