Darien's The Depot To Hold Annual 'Wrap Up' Fundraiser This Holiday Season
The event offers residents a convenient way to have their gifts wrapped while supporting programs for local teens and tweens.
DARIEN, CT — The Depot Youth Center will once again turn holiday hustle into community giving with its annual "Wrap Up" fundraiser, offering residents a convenient way to have their gifts wrapped while supporting programs for local teens.
From Dec. 18 through Dec. 23, community members can drop off unwrapped presents at The Depot and pick them up fully wrapped, ribboned and ready for the holidays. Organizers describe the event as Darien’s biggest "holiday hack."
For a minimum donation of $40 and a suggested donation of $4 per gift, volunteers will handle the wrapping. Participants may bring their own paper, ribbon and tags or allow the Depot’s student "elves" to select from the center’s supply of festive materials.

"Between shopping, hosting, and traveling, the holidays can feel overwhelming. The Wrap Up is the perfect way to check one thing off your list while supporting a great cause," said Byrne Pozzi, president of The Depot’s board of directors, in a news release. "It’s a win-win. Your gifts will look amazing, and you’re helping us continue programs that give Darien’s youth a place to connect, grow, and give back."
All proceeds support The Depot’s youth programs for teens and tweens, including student-led clubs, leadership initiatives and community service opportunities aimed at fostering belonging and resilience.
