Darien's 'Old Fashioned Holiday' Event Upcoming: Details
The holiday event will offer attendees an afternoon of seasonal activities, family attractions and local vendors.
DARIEN, CT — Darien Parks and Recreation will host its "Old Fashioned Holiday" celebration on Dec. 6, at Tilley Pond Park, offering an afternoon of seasonal activities, family attractions and local vendors.
The event will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and invites residents to "step back in time" with traditional holiday features. Attendees can browse gifts at the holiday market, view ice sculptures, and visit food vendors stationed throughout the park.
Activities include photos with Rudolph and Frosty, caroling by the Darien High School Tudor Singers, and cookie and wood-ornament decorating. A winter-barn backdrop will be available for photo opportunities, and a mailbox and writing station will be set up for letters to Santa.
