Flooding Closes Roads In Darien: Police
Police advise motorists to stay away from flooded areas.
DARIEN, CT — Several roads in Darien are closed Sunday due to flooding conditions, according to police.
The following roads are closed, as of 11:06 a.m.
- Post Road at the railroad underpass, and between Hecker Avenue and Ledge Road
- Mechanic Street
- Sedgwick Avenue at Mechanic Street

Heavy rain moved into the area late Saturday, early Sunday. Showers are expected to continue throughout the day into Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
