Here's When Parking Passes Go On Sale For Darien's Town Fireworks

Passes are for Darien residents only and can be purchased online or in person.

DARIEN, CT — Darien's Fourth of July fireworks are slated for 6:30 p.m. on July 12 at the high school, but parking passes for the event will be available for purchase beginning later this month.

Walk-ins during the event are free and not limited to residents. However, parking passes will be available for $30 online starting at 12 p.m. on June 24 for Darien residents only.

Online purchases may be picked up in office beginning Monday, July 1, (closed July 4-5). Passes must be picked up no later than Wednesday, July 10, whether purchased online or in-person.

To purchase or pick up in person, visit the Darien Parks & Recreation Department at Town Hall, room 110 from 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Town Hall is closed on Fridays.

Availability of passes (online and in person) is on a first-come, first-served basis. Passes may sell out so purchasing a pass early is encouraged.

Due to the popularity of the event, there will be no refunds.

If you can no longer attend the event, residents are encouraged to find a friend or family member who may take your place.
