Skinner, volunteered extensively in local schools and at the Darien Historical Society, contributed to the arts scene and Greenwich antiques world, and enjoyed travel, needlepoint, and community engagement alongside her husband Paul.
Mel Solomon, 76, died June 22, 2025; a former teacher who devoted her life to caregiving, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, animals, tennis, and volunteering in her community, with her deepest commitment devoted to family life and the care of her daughter Kerry.

Michael Harvey Burkhart, 72, died June 21, 2025; a Central Connecticut State College English graduate and longtime Ring’s End Lumber executive, he was a Noroton Fire Department chief, Camp Fire Club of America president, avid boater, hunter, and Yankees fan who found joy in time spent with his family, especially at his upstate New York retreat.
Gerald N. Mucciolo, 86, died June 18, 2025; a financial planner who began his career at Pan Am and retired from Pitney Bowes, he was an avid traveler, pilot, car enthusiast, sportsman, and music lover who enjoyed sailing, coaching softball, and spending time with his family.
