Margaret "Peg" Callaway Avison, 97, died May 17, 2025; a professional illustrator and co-founder of Avison Studio in Manhattan, she later worked as a freelance artist in Connecticut, studied painting at local arts centers, and spent decades skiing in Vermont and enjoying summers at The Tokeneke Club.

James J. Morrison, 74, died May 9, 2025; a Darien High School graduate and U.S. Marine Corps sergeant who served in Vietnam, he later worked for the U.S. Postal Service.
