Traffic Advisory Issued By Darien Police
Police have issued a traffic advisory for the upcoming 5K run/walk for Ukraine. See which roads will be impacted.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for the upcoming 5K run/walk for Ukraine.
The event is scheduled for May 21 at 8:30 a.m., and it's expected to draw around 250 participants, who will start at Pear Tree Point Beach, police said.
Impacted roads will be Pear Tree Point Road, Crane Road, Rings End Road, Long Neck Point Road, Goodwives River Road, Salem Straits, and Sunswyck Road. The race itself will take place on Pear Tree Point Road and Goodwives River Road.

Motorists and residents of the area are advised to expect short-term delays and detours along the race route, police said.
DPD personnel will be positioned along the route to facilitate the flow of traffic and the safety of the runners.
