Woman Found With Copper Piping, Burglary Tools In Darien: Police
Police said they responded to a report of suspicious activity at a building in town in the early morning hours of Sept. 22.

DARIEN, CT — A Pennsylvania woman was found with copper piping, scrap metal and burglary tools at a building in Darien late last month, according to police.
Kristina Pisano, 44, of Warminster, Pa., was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, and sixth-degree larceny, her arrest report notes.
On Sept. 22 at approximately 6:40 a.m., Darien police responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Colangelo building on Tokeneke Road where security cameras showed individuals entering a fenced area with a Home Depot rental truck, police said.

Officers stopped the truck and identified the operator as Pisano, who was found with a "large quantity of copper piping and scrap metal in plain view," police said.
A search of the truck found additional stolen materials, walkietalkies, and sawzall blades consistent with burglary tools, police added.

Pisano was able to post a $50,000 bond. She's scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 14.
Police said an investigation into additional suspects is ongoing.
