Work To Resume Soon On Noroton, West Avenue Intersection Project

DARIEN, CT — Work is scheduled to resume on the Noroton/West Avenue intersection improvement project on July 24 and run through July 28, according to an update from the town of Darien.

Motorists are being urged to find alternate routes through the area if possible. Detours will be posted with signage as needed, and Darien police will be on-site to assist with moving traffic through the area, the town said. Access to local businesses will be available.

Work will include milling and paving, and adjustment of catch basins and manholes. The road surface may be uneven, the town said, and pavement markings and signage will follow the completion of paving.
