10 Questions With Roni Rodier From Rockin' Jump East Haven

Rockin’ Jump East Haven is the ultimate indoor trampoline park.

That’s right — an entire facility dedicated to open jump areas wherein people can play trampoline dodgeball, perform somersaults or practice their flips for an experience that is equal parts fitness and fun. From kids’ parties to corporate retreats, church groups to family reunions, Rockin’ Jump East Haven offers something for everyone.

Patch speaks to owner Roni Rodier about the inspiration behind her work, the most satisfying part of her job and how Rockin’ Jump East Haven stands out from the competition.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?

Rodier: Since February 2017.

Patch: What attracted you to the business you’re in, and how did you get started?

Rodier: Our daughter was a trampolinist! She is the inspiration for our park. We are entrepreneurs and always wanted to open a family-friendly place where you can enjoy a five-star experience that is safe, clean and fun without the five-star price.

Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?

Rodier: Safe, supervised, clean, high-fives, fun.

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?

Rodier: Educating the guest on what we offer — way more than just jumping on a trampoline! It really is fitness and competition for all ages, disguised as fun.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Rodier: The ability to provide a fun space for the community to enjoy and the ability to give back to organizations in need.

Patch: You’re not the only person in this business. How do you distinguish yourself from the others?

Rodier: Walk in and you will notice the difference immediately. It’s about service and supervision. We treat each guest with outstanding service, provide the cleanest environment at all times and make sure every guest is well supervised so they are as safe as possible. We go way above the minimum standards and requirements.

Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?

Rodier: It's ok to be afraid to fail. It will drive you to succeed.

Patch: What would you say are a few secrets to your success?

Rodier: Working hard with passion, believing in yourself, never giving up.

Patch: What is your favorite thing about the Patch?

Rodier: That it provides the community the latest information in a concise and easy manner to read.

Patch: Do you have any events coming up in your community? If so, tell us about them.

Rodier: We have events all the time. Literally every week, there is some special and deal. We have Rockin’ Tot Times for our jumpers 6 years and younger, Neon Nights (coming soon late June), Rockin’ Wednesdays, where you can jump two hours for the price of one!
