"We would like to congratulate Group 1 Firefighter Michael Vuolo, who is working his last tour today. Brother Vuolo will be departing from the Submarine Base Fire Department to start his new chapter with East Haven Fire Department. Although he will be missed around station 23 & 24, his new department is lucky to have him."

Vuolo has been an East Haven Fire Department Vol Co 1 volunteer firefighter and EMT.
