For The 19th Year, The East Haven Rotary Is Making Sure Those In Need Receive A Free Thanksgiving Dinner

In a letter to the business community, the Rotary noted that without business owners' generosity, the Club could not do the work it does.

EAST HAVEN, CT — For the 19th year, the East Haven Rotary Club will celebrate Thanksgiving by giving. Rotarians will provide a free, full-course delivered holiday dinner on Thanksgiving Day.

The dinner, which is available for delivery beginning at 9 a.m., Nov. 27, includes all the traditional holiday fixings including a dessert.

"With the continuing economic climate, many more families may find themselves in need of some type of assistance," Ashley Lesco, Chair of the Rotary Thanksgiving Day Meals committee, said. "The Rotary is encouraging residents to feel comfortable to participate in this program. Last year, the Rotary provided more dinners than ever before."
