2 Dogs Killed In House Fire In East Haven
Several other pets were rescued, officials said.

EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Firefighters Local 1205 said two dogs died in a house fire Saturday night.
Firefighters responded to a house fire on Hotchkiss Street Extension in the center of town, fire officials said.
Upon arrival, members found a fire within the residence. Crews worked to remove trapped pets from the house and extinguish the blaze. Multiple pets were rescued; two dogs unfortunately perished in the fire, police said. The fire is currently under investigation.
