24th Annual East Haven Independence Day Fireworks, Beach Bash Details Released

EAST HAVEN, CT — Mayor Joseph A. Carfora and the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 484 announced the return of one of East Haven’s favorite summer traditions — the 24th Annual Fireworks & Beach Bash, happening on Saturday, June 28th. This year’s event promises a day filled with live music, great food, and festive fun for the entire community.

"This event has become a signature celebration for East Haven," Mayor Carfora said. "It's a time when our community comes together at the beach to enjoy a great day and honor Independence Day. From fantastic bands to an incredible fireworks show, there’s truly something for everyone."

A wide range of food trucks and local vendors will be stationed throughout the day, offering a variety of eats.

Evening Entertainment Lineup:
The Low Darts, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Rum Runners, from 7 p.m. until the fireworks and after. Carfora said this year marks a new twist to the festivities — live music will continue after the fireworks, with The Rum Runners returning to the stage for a second set following the grand finale at approximately 9:45 p.m.

99.1 PLR’s Eddie Sab will be on site with giveaways and music from the PLR tent.

Please note that access to the beach area will be limited starting at 9 a.m. due to road closures. The East Haven Police Department will be assisting with traffic control to help ensure a safe and smooth day for all attendees.

In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will move to Monday, June 30, with limited entertainment and the fireworks show.
