EAST HAVEN, CT — Serving drinks at a bar without serving food, failing to sanitize tables and chairs, closed kitchens, and no social distancing were among the violations at three East Haven establishments — restaurant, lounge and a billiard parlor — in early September.

The East Shore District Health department inspected the venues on Sept. 4. On Sept. 8, the sheriff delivered the notices of violation and the shut-down order issued by health director Michael Pascucilla.

At Bullseye Billiards on Main Street, the notice of violation reads, "customers were observed sitting at the bar and being served drinks without being served food."
