Anthony Maiorano obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Anthony Maiorano, 77 of New Haven passed away at home on December 7, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born August 16, 1948 in New Haven to Enrico and Barbara (D’Innocenti) Maiorano. Anthony is survived by his loving companion, Anna Casa and his devoted children; Michele Valerio (Joseph) of New Haven, Anthony Maiorano (Maria) of East Haven, Catherine Maiorano-Green (Alan) of East Haven and Christopher Maiorano (Lorrie) of East Haven along with thirteen grandchildren he adored; Miranda Valerio, Jillian Valerio (Dylan), Daniel Valerio (Rosie), Anthony Leblanc, Angela Maiorano, Nadia Pelkey (Mitchell), Gina Maiorano, Nicholas Maiorano, Dominic Maiorano, Amanda Alling (Curtis), Alicia Alling-Jackson (Joshua), Ariel D’Lima (Shane) and Christopher Maiorano Jr. Anthony is also survived by his numerous great grandchildren, Nephews; Lee Maiorano (Carolyn) and Edward Parrette and a niece, Diane Mullally (Paul).

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings; Lee Maiorano, Nina Parrette, John Maiorano and Anna Maiorano.

Anthony was a humble, modest family man, small in stature, but larger than life. He was a humorous man with passion for living. He was funny and loved to laugh and was adored by his family and friends. Most of all he cherished the company of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special “Thank you” to Anna Casa for her tireless, loving care of our Poppy.

Family will receive friends on Thursday December 18, 2025 from 4 PM until the time of service at 6:30 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private.
