Concerts! Before You Know It, You'll Be Rocking Out Under A Summer Sky
The Sunday Night Concert Series on the East Haven Town Green begins June 23 and kicks off with Alex Shilow's Tribute to Bruce Springsteen.
EAST HAVEN, CT — It's baaaack!
This week, East Haven Mayor Joseph A. Carfora announced the return of the Sunday Night Concert Series on the East Haven Town Green beginning June 23. The concerts are held on Sundays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Our Sunday Night Concert Series is a true gem, and I’m over the moon to see it back and bigger than ever," Carfora said. "It’s a chance for us to have fun, enjoy some great music, and bask in each other’s company. I’m ecstatic to kick off the season with Alex Shilow’s Tribute to Bruce Springsteen.”

This summer’s lineup is “off the charts,” the mayor said.
“We have a mix of your favorite bands and some fresh faces too,” Carfora said. “Mark your calendars, grab your blankets, chairs and join us for a summer of unforgettable music, food trucks for dinner, and community spirit at East Haven’s Sunday Night Concert Series.”

The 2024 Sunday Night Concert Series lineup includes:
June 23rd - Alex Shilow’s Tribute to Bruce Springsteen
July 7th - The Mediums (Full Band) 70s – 90s Hits
July 14th – BackTrax – Classic Rock
July 21st – One Way Ticket – Hits from the 60s to the 2000s
July 28th – Black Kites – Classic Hits and Classic Rock
August 3rd - (Saturday) Senior Day with Dizzy Fish 12:30-3p - Best of the 70s
August 4th – East Haven’s 2nd Annual Afesta! (Artists To Be Announced)
August 11th – Sunset Drive – Pop, Rock & Country
August 18th- The Odd Couple & Friends – Pop & Classic Rock
August 25th – Psychedelic Relics – Hits from the 60s & 70s
Carfora said that following the "resounding success" of the town's inaugural East Haven Afesta in 2023, he's excited for its return, too.
"The 'Afesta' is a fantastic night to honor our town's vibrant Italian legacy by bringing our community together to revel in Italian music and cuisine," he said.
