EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Police Department isn't in the habit of sharing wanted-for-shoplifting posts on social media. You know, the ones with CCTV images of the alleged booster.

But Wednesday, police did a shoplifting post on Facebook. With a twist.

"Earlier today, an unidentified female decided to help herself to a bunch of items at Family Dollar without paying. In her rush to get away, she dropped her phone.
