DJ Cited As Star East Haven Student: Here’s Why

EAST HAVEN, CT— Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Rosalie who nominated her relative DJ of East Haven.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

He is an awesome kid! He plays in the East Haven Marching Band, he is doing winter guard during bands off season. He is always willing to help others and he is very respectful. He had received the Superintendents Award, the Presidents Award, and also is a role model student since he was in kindergarten. He has received high honors the past 3 yrs and is continuing in his freshman year with high honors. He also wants to help out with unified sports, backstage for drama club.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

That he is an awesome Kid
