East Haven Dad Does 'Everything', Including His Daughter's Hair

EAST HAVEN, CT— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. East Haven, meet Juma Alexander.

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

What makes your dad extra special?

My dad works hard and long days and he always asks us what we want for snacks. He does my sister's hair pretty before school and he takes us to the movies.

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

My dad loves us and spends time with us, tucks us in at night, and teaches us sports. Our dad doesn’t do anything for himself, he just worries about us.
