East Haven Election Results 2025: Winner Revealed In Mayoral Race

UPDATE: Democratic East Haven Mayor Joseph Carfora is the projected winner in his mayoral race against GOP Challenger Anthony Camposano.

In a news release, Carfora said he won re-election earning 63 percent of the vote, securing a 4th term. "The Carfora Team swept all 15 Town Council seats, has control of the Board of Finance and the Board of Education," according to a statement.

The Secretary of State website shows Carfora had 4,094 votes and Camposano had 2,404 votes.

“This victory belongs to the people of East Haven,” said Carfora in a statement. “They chose stability, accountability, and continued progress over empty promises and political games. I am deeply grateful for the trust our residents have placed in me and our entire team. Together, we’ve made East Haven stronger — and together, we’ll keep building on that success.”

"Under Carfora’s leadership, East Haven has achieved significant progress across financial stability, infrastructure investment, and quality-of-life improvements," according to a news release from the Carfora campaign. "From revitalizing the Town Green and strengthening public safety, to modernizing Town operations and improving recreational spaces, the Carfora administration has focused on real results that residents can see and feel.

“This campaign was about facts and hard work,” Carfora continued. “Our message was simple — we’ve done what we said we’d do. And the voters agreed.”

Mayor, Vote For One

The Democratic candidate is Joseph A. Carfora and the Republican candidate is Anthony Camposano


Town Council District 1, Vote For Up To Three

The Democratic candidates are Ann Penington, Alphonse Camera and Mariano "Juny" Santiago, and the Republican candidates are Eileen Parlato, Sandra A. Woodhouse and Eric Kropiwnicki


Town Council District 2, Vote For Up To Three

The Democratic candidates are Karen A. Martin, Joseph E. Deko and Joseph Santino Jr, and the Republican candidates are Nick Palladino, Jack Tiboni and Steve DeLucia


Town Council District 3, Vote For Up To Three

The Democratic candidates are Joseph Bracale, Louis Pacelli and Marianne Cesare, and the Republican candidates are Vincent Acampora Jr., Marc Conte Sr. and Donna Richo


Town Council District 4, Vote For Up To Three

The Democratic candidates are Michael Ginnetti, Richard Esposito and Tina Hedley and the Republican candidates are Samantha A. Parlato, John J. Miessau and Jeffrey Lendroth


Town Council District 5, Vote For Up To Three

The Democratic candidates are Gaetano (Guy) Bimonte, Joseph Kikosicki and Al Vollono and the Republican candidates are Loria Jaffe and Bryan Surprenant


Town Clerk, Vote For One

The Democratic candidate is Lisa Balter and the Republican candidate is Michael Enders


Board of Finance, Vote For Up To Four

The Democratic candidates are Jeff Crisafi, Christopher Perdo, Ronald DeSena, and Alfred Z. Purzycki and the Republican candidates are Beth Purcell, William Richardson, Ralph J. Vitale, and Edwin Zorrilla


Board of Education, Vote For Up To Six
