EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
She takes really good care of me and my sister. She spends so much money on my softball just so I can have fun and play. She tolerates so much of me and my sister fighting, and she works really hard so we are healthy and have a beautiful home! My mom does so much and takes great care of me! She drives me to school every day and makes sure I have a good lunch to eat. I love her!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
I think my mom deserves the spotlight because she works hard every day and is the best mom I could ever ask for!
