EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
Our mom has the most amazing, kindest heart a person could ever have. She is and has always been there for all of us through every little thing in our lives.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
To us, our mom is a superhero. She has two jobs, raised all four of us and is the most amazing grandmother to our children. On the days that she isn’t working, instead of resting, she is always finding ways to spend time together as a family whether it’s beach days, backyard picnics, dinners, etc.
