EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?
Something that makes my mom special is she will never give up on you. Throughout my whole life, I have done things that disappointed her and things I wish I could take back but she never once gave up on me and always supported me.
Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?
She is hard working and deserves to know that people love her and she is deeply cared about.
